Get rid of line in bottom of the screen Samsung
Getting rid of the line is fairly simple, but not thanks to Samsung

Why is the line there?
The line is called Gesture Hint and is there supposedly to make it easier to gesture for new users. Unfortunately it takes up precious screen space by default, if you don't change it to transparent. It will still be there, but apps can then use full screen and it will appear on topYou are most likely here because you got the OneUI 6.1 update or bought a phone that came with it, where Samsung had the genius idea to disable gesture settings menu where the gesture hint reside. Which auto enables gesture hint, with no option to turn it off
Getting rid of the line
OneUI 6 and older
- Open Settings
- Go into Display
- Go into Navigation bar
- Toggle off Gesture Hint
OneUI 6.1
- Open Galaxy Store
- Search for and install Good Lock
- Open Good Luck
- Now install NavStar, found under Make up section and that's the default section that opens up
- Once installation is done, scroll to the top and click on NavStar
- Click Start
- Storage access is needed, so click Allow all or it won't work
- Toggle on Enable extra gesture settings
- Open Settings
- Go to Display
- Scroll down to Navigation bar
- More options
- Toggle off Gesture hint
- You can uninstall Good Lock if you don't want it anymore, but do not remove NavStar or gesture hint will return, as the settings menu will disappear and re-enable Gesture Hint
